LuMind IDSC’s Run for Down Syndrome marathoners are advocates who spread our vision of a world where every person with Down syndrome thrives with improved health, independence, and opportunities to reach their fullest potential.

LuMind IDSC runners have participated in the New York, Berlin, and Chicago marathons in recent years and 2024 is no exception!

Meet Our 2024 Running Team

Take the first steps toward learning more about Running for Research, and how LuMind IDSC supports our marathoners here.

When you join the LuMind IDSC Runners Team, you will receive:

  • Guaranteed entry into the Marathon
  • Personalized fundraising page with ongoing assistance from the LuMind IDSC team to help you reach your fundraising goal
  • Weekly updates with fundraising tips, training ideas, and race day information
  • Access to a private Facebook group for runners
  • Opportunity to connect with fellow teammates at a special runner’s breakfast during the weekend of the marathon
  • LuMind IDSC gear and other race day goodies
